Foundation — Beginner FriendlyNew to Reformer? Start here! Foundation is designed for beginners, as well as anyone wanting to slow things down and revisit the fundamentals. You’ll be shown how the Reformer works and given extra guidance throughout the class.Signature — Mixed AbilityOur all-levels class. Each exercise will have the options to progress or regress depending on your experience and how your body feels that day. Pick your layer, the class flows for you.Elevate — IntermediateReady to take your practice further? Elevate is faster paced with quicker transitions and more challenging progressions. You should be confident with the Reformer and know how to include your breath work to maintain mind-body connection throughout. Recovery — Stretch & ResetA slower-paced class focused entirely on stretching, mobility and reconnecting with your body. Suitable for everyone and perfect for winding down after a busy week or simply giving your body some time to reset. Expect gentle movement, longer stretches and guidance around the body and how it moves.£10 Tuesday — Signature, Half PriceOur Signature class at just £10 This is a mixed-ability class, so you should already be comfortable using the Reformer and have a basic understanding of what we do. Not suitable for complete beginners.

Do I need to have done Pilates before?

Not at all!Our Foundation classes, returning in September, are designed specifically for complete beginners. You'll learn the basics, become familiar with the reformer, and build confidence in a supportive environment.If you'd rather get started sooner, you're also very welcome to join one of our Signature classes. These are mixed-ability classes, with progressions and regressions for every exercise, so you can work at the level that feels right for you.Simply let us know on the booking form that it's your first Reformer class, and your instructor will show you how the reformer works before the session begins. During class, every movement is fully demonstrated and explained, with guidance and support throughout, so you'll never be left wondering what to do.

Can I join if I’m not very fit?

Absolutely. Reformer Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels. Our instructors will provide modifications and progressions throughout the class, allowing you to work at a level that’s right for you.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely. Kindly avoid clothing with zips, buttons or studs that could damage the reformers.Grip socks are essential so please bring your own or purchase in the studio before class starts!

Why do I need grip socks?

Grip socks are compulsory for all classes for hygiene and safety. If you don’t have a pair, they’re available to purchase at the studio.

What should I bring?

Just yourself, a water bottle and your grip socks. We provide everything else you’ll need.

How early should I arrive?

If you're new to the studio or Reformer,please arrive 10 minutes before your class begins.The studio door unlocks 10 minutes before the class start time to allow everyone to settle in. For safety and to ensure classes begin on time, the door locks 2 minutes before the class starts. Unfortunately, anyone arriving after this time will not be permitted to enter.

What happens during my first class?

You arrive - Your instructor will meet you, ask about any injuries, experience and check grip socks before making sure you're set up correctly on the machine.You warm up - Expect gentle mobility work to ease you in. Nothing extreme. Just movement to get you connected.The main class - A mix of exercises targeting your core, legs, glutes, back, and arms — all guided by your instructor, all on the reformer.You'll feel muscles you didn’t know you had. - That's normal. The reformer finds the small stabilising muscles that everyday movement misses.You cool down. - Stretching, breathing, and a moment to let your body settle. Most clients leave feeling longer, lighter, and calmer.You'll want to come back - Seriously — that's what they all say.
